Get Your Ghoul On & Teen Fright Night

Come join us this Thursday, October 20, from 5:00-6:30 to get your ghoul on. We will learn how do use theatrical makeup to look like a zombie, vampire, or faerie. You can use these for upcoming parties and festivals.
On Tuesday October 25, from 5:00-6:00, we will be having a Teen Fright Night. We will sit around the (fake) fire and tell scary stories. Feel free to tell one of your favorite stories. We will also be making s'mores to enjoy around the (fake) fire.

Both programs are FREE and open to all 6th through 12th graders. If you have any questions, please call the library at 292-7382.

Summer Movies

Along with our summer reading programs, we will be hosting movies on Tuesdays. The movies will begin at 2:00pm and are FREE and open to all rising 6th through 12th graders. Movies are rated PG-13. Refreshments will be provided. This summer's movies are:

Summer Reading

I know you all are ready for school to be out and for summer to start. It isn't much longer. Remember that when you get bored this summer, the library has plenty of things to keep you busy. Our FREE programs start the week of June 16 and are open to all rising 6th through 12th graders. Programs are at 3:30 on Thursdays.

Can Creations

Today at Teen Time, we used old Pepsi, Coke, and other aluminum cans to create different objects. We are trying to do more with recycling materials as programs. Here are pictures of some of the things the teens made today and the process of making these items. Please feel free to join us every Thursday from 5:00-6:00 to make crafts and hang out.

Marshmallow Creations

With all the snow that the U.S. has been getting and the cold weather, we decided to make marshmallow creations for out teen program. There were other types of candy that could be used also. Here are some pictures of the creations. Come and join us for other fun programs like this one.

Practice SAT test

Winter Programs

Hey guys. Happy New Year.
We have started back teen programs for the year. We have our Teen Time every Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00. It is open to all 6th through 12th graders. We make crafts, play games, or just hang and talk.

The Anime Club meets every Third Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:30. Come watch anime and discuss manga with other 6th through 12th graders. Feel free to bring your own anime.
