Teen Movie

We will be showing the movie The Incredible Hulk on Tuesday, November 4, at 2pm. You are off school for Election Day so come by and enjoy the movie. Refreshments will be provided.

Teen Read Week Programs

Next week, October 12-18, is Teen Read Week. We have a couple of programs planned to go along with the theme Books With Bite. On Tuesday, the 14th, we will make Gock puppets. Make sock puppets that look as Goth as possible. You can go as crazy as you want. It will be from 4:30-5:30pm in the Children's Program Room. On Thursday, the 16th, we will watch the 1931 Dracula. Bela Lugosi plays Dracula in this classic. It is one of the movies that started the horror movie genre. It will be from 6:00-8:00pm in the Main Meeting Room. All programs are FREE and open to all 6th through 12th graders. Please join us for these fun programs.

Teen Read Week is October 12-18, 2008. Bookmarks are around the library with the titles of the nominees for the Teen's Top Ten. Read the books and vote during Teen Read Week. You can help choose the Teen' Top Ten books of the year. Go to www.ala.org/teenstopten to also see the list of nominees and to vote. Info on programs will come soon.
