Anime Club and The Dark Knight

Hey guys. Next week, we will have the first meeting of our anime club on Tuesday. We will be watching Zombie Loan in the Children's Program Room. Bring any manga that you would like to discuss and also any ideas of anime that you might want to see. The program starts at 5:00 and lasts until 6:30.

We will be showing the movie The Dark Knight on Thursday. Come watch it one more time to see all the brilliant acting and action. It will be in the Children's Program Room and start at 5:30.

Holiday Closing

We will be closed this Monday, January 19, for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday remembrance. We will reopen on Tuesday.

January Programs

We are going to try to have all our programs on Thursdays, and will be called Teen Thursdays. Here are the programs for January. Please come to any that you find interesting.

Holiday Closings

We will be closed this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for the holidays. Regular hours will start on Saturday. We will close at 5:30 on December 31 and be closed January 1 for New Year's. Hope you have a fun and safe holiday.

Twilight

I saw the movie on Friday night. I thought it was great. It did not follow the book exactly, but the extra scene helped the movie. It helped those who had not read the books understand stuff that might not have been explained. I thought that the casting went well and can not wait for New Moon. What did you think?

Teen Programs

The Teen Advisory Club will meet this Sunday, the 9th, at 3pm. Come help choose the programs, movies, and books for January and beyond. We will be making CD Dreamcatchers on the 13th from 4:30 to 5:30.

On the 20th, we will have an All Things Twilight party. Come discuss the books, play trivia, and other things before the movie comes out. We will be in the Children's Program Room from 5:00-6:30pm.
