Programs this week
There are many programs this week at the library. We will have our Teen Advisory Club this Thursday, the 5th at 4:30. We will talk about programs and movies for April and the summer. On Friday, the 6th, we will show the movie The Express at 2:00. If you aren't in school that day, come join us for the movie. The big program will be the Step Show on Saturday the 7th at 1:00. South Florence High School's team will perform a few routines, talk about their squad, and show us some steps. All programs will be in the main meeting room, by the front doors. Please call the library if you have any questions.

Teen Programs
The Teen Advisory Club will meet this Sunday, the 9th, at 3pm. Come help choose the programs, movies, and books for January and beyond. We will be making CD Dreamcatchers on the 13th from 4:30 to 5:30.
On the 20th, we will have an All Things Twilight party. Come discuss the books, play trivia, and other things before the movie comes out. We will be in the Children's Program Room from 5:00-6:30pm.

Teen Advisory Club
Because of scheduling problems, the Teen Advisory Club will meet on the THIRD Sunday this month. This means it will be October 19 at 3:oopm.

Come help choose programs and movies for the library. The Teen Advisory Club will be Sunday the 14th at 3:00pm. It is open to all 6th through 12th graders. The meeting will last about an hour.

September Programs
Hi guys. We have finally planned all the September programs. They are:
- 14th (3-4pm)-Teen Advisory Club
- 15th (5-6pm)- Book Discussion-Things Not Seen by Andrew Clements (copies are in the Teen Area)
- 18th (6-8pm)- Prom Night (Rated PG-13)
- 24th (1:30-3:00pm)- Old School Game Day. Play old board games and hang out with others your age. Feel free to bring any of you old games
- 30th (5:30-8:00pm)- Iron Man (Rated PG-13) Watch the movie the day it comes out on DVD

Upcoming Programs
This Sunday, August 10, will be our Teen Advisory Club meeting for the month. We will meet at 3pm. We will be discussing programs for the fall and choosing movies to show. We will be have a book discussion on Eldest, the second book of the Inheritance saga, on Friday August 15. It will be at 2pm. We will also choose the book for the next month before discussion Brisngr in October. Please fell free to join us for all of these programs.

April Things
Just wanted to let you know about our April programs. We will have our Teen Advisory Club meeting on Sunday, April 6th. We will be choosing movies for the summer and what books to use for the book club. We will have an altered books workshop on Tuesday April 8th at 4:30. Take old books and create something new out of them. The movie will be Sydney White on Tuesday April 22 at 6:00pm. Please come and join us for these programs

February stuff
Here are the programs for the month of February:
The performers that were to come on the 8th cannot make it. Instead, we will watch the movie Stomp the Yard. It is rated PG-13 so permission slips will be needed for those under 13. It will be in the main meeting room and start at 2:00pm. Many students do not have school that day so come join us for the movie.
We will have our Teen Advisory Club meeting on the 10th. We will be discussing programs for April and for the summer. Any 6th through 12th grader is invited to attend.
We will show the movie Bridge to Terabithia on the 19th. It will begin at 6pm in the main meeting room. Refreshments will be provided.

On the 15th, We will be making beeswax candles from 4:30-5:30. You can take home whatever you make.
On the 22nd, we will watch the movie Transformers. If you are under 13, you will need a permission slip signed by a parent.
Refreshments are provided at all events. Come join us for fun at the library this month.

Teen Advisory Club
We will have the first meeting of the Teen Advisory Club on Sunday (December 2) at 3pm. Anyone in the 6th-12th grades is welcome to participate. We will choose the movies for January and February, discuss programs, and start thinking about a name for the group. Please come if you are able.

April programs
We will have the final programs for the school year next week. On the 17th, the Teen Advisory Club will have Duct Tape Designs. Make whatever you want out of duct tape. It will be from 4:30-5:30. On the 19th, The teen movie will be Freedom Writers. It will be from 5:45 to 8. Both are free and open to all 6th-12th graders. Please feel free to come and join us.

Library Closing
The library will be closed on Monday, February 19. We will have the Teen Advisory Club program on Tuesday the 20th and the movie on Thursday the 22nd. Details to follow.

December Programs
There will not be any programs in December. It is a busy month for everyone. We will start back with the Teen Advisory Club and Teen Movie Nights in January. Hope everyone had great holidays.
